Let Quickbooks® Help You Run Your Business

Dana S. Beane & Company, P.C. has been a Pro Adviser since the program's inception, servicing clients who are using QuickBooks® in their businesses. The business may be an entirely new entity which will require determination of a chart of accounts to properly record activity, or the business may be converting from another software program to QuickBooks® and want to use its existing accounts. We can assist you in setting up your QuickBooks® file and train you to use the software. We encourage our clients to be as self-sufficient as possible, and after the initial set-up and training we are available to assist with any problems and questions that may arise. There are also inventory and cash register interfaces available in the third party software market.

QuickBooks® has an Easy Step Interview that walks you through the set up of your company. There is guidance for specific industries; however, a customized chart of accounts will sometimes give you more meaningful reports to aid in the management of your business.

QuickBooks® and QuickBooks® Pro® is easy to learn and use. No accounting knowledge is necessary, but we strongly urge you to make certain it is setup correctly. There is no need to understand debits, credits or postings – you just fill in familiar forms on screen like checks, invoices and other forms and QuickBooks® automatically helps do the accounting for you. With this system you can also maintain your payroll, do your monthly bank reconciliation and keep track of your accounts receivable through aging reports. You can see how your business is doing since you will have the ability to have a profit and loss statement and balance sheet at any time.

QuickBooks® Navigator uses flow charts to guide you step by step. We are also available to help you with problems you may encounter or areas with which you are unfamiliar.
